Dolores Del Campo

Dolores Del Campo is a play that was written By the playwright and Actor Alberto Uribe in the summer of 2010, what makes this story so interesting is the fact that can be an open window for the spectator to observe   real struggles caused by real events. In this particular case the consequences behind  the strong fighting  between the rural Guerrilla and the Para-Military forces that once took place in Colombia.
As the story progresses, and when the family is trying to leave behind the scars of the past and at the same time follow a better future, the playwright is able to take the observer in to the boundaries of reality and fantasy, by mixing themes of the parable The Prodigal Son with the Athenian tragedy of Oedipus Rex. According to Uribe  all these mixtures of elements  are with the specific purpose to surprise and challenge the imagination of  the spectators.

At this moment the rights of this play are for sale
